About
I'm Henry. I make websites that pass their own tests.
From QA to building things that ship.
I spent years finding bugs other people built. Broken checkout flows, forms that silently ate submissions, mobile pages that scrolled sideways. The pattern is always the same — somebody built it, somebody else shipped it, and nobody ran it on a real phone.
I started this studio so local businesses can buy a site that doesn't ship like that.
Why this, why now.
Wellington has a lot of small businesses with $5,000 quotes from agencies they can't justify, sitting beside $99 template sites that look it. There's a missing middle: thoughtful, fast, tested sites at a price a sole trader can sign off in an afternoon.
That's the gap I'm filling. Three builds a month, full attention each, fixed prices.
Bilingual — and I mean it.
I grew up speaking Mandarin at home and English everywhere else. When I deliver a bilingual site, both languages are written, not translated. A direct translation of Kiwi small-business English reads stiff and foreign to a Chinese customer — and you lose the trust you were trying to build.
How I work.
- ✓ Fixed price agreed up front. No "scope creep" invoices.
- ✓ Daily check-ins on a staging URL. You see progress; I don't disappear.
- ✓ You own the code, the domain, and the hosting from day one.
- ✓ If automated tests fail, I don't deploy. Same standard I held vendors to in QA.
